Happy Birthday Cards

Hello fellow bloggers.

This week I've been challenging myself to try new things. Techniques that have been around for years, that I've known about, but haven't tried due to being scared that I might be turned off by it if it doesn't come out right. The latest thing I tried is paper piecing. It's my new love!! Since I have a few copic stamps in stock and since I wanted to use my 5 copics and make sure I know how to really use those 5 (lol) I decided to make a card using a stamp by C.C. Designs. It's called "Swiss Miss - Rosalie with roses" and she was so easy to put together. I colored her hair with regular color pencils. The cutting itself takes a bit of time, but it was actually relaxing. Put some nice worship music on and cut away!

I used the Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg collection for her clothes and the cards.

I hope you enjoy these 2 cards and are inspired. If you are interested in purchasing them, they are available in my etsy shop. Either click here ~~> ETSY, or copy/paste the URL. http://www.etsy.com/shop/studiodboutique
