Let It Snow

If you're an avid Pinner, you may have come across non-traditional Christmas pins.  This is right in my wheelhouse.  I love the pastels and light airy colors for Christmas, as much as I love the rich reds and glowing greens.  Today the PI Girls are sharing our take on this PINSPIRE Board created by Mary-Ann, on today's blog.  Seeing as these are my favorite colors, I just had to play along.

I pulled out my "Snow And Cocoa" collection by Crate Paper, and just got to cutting.  I already had pre-cut the swirly circles on my Silhouette called "Bubbles".  But I did purposefully cut out "Circles & Snowflakes" inside the Bubbles circles, to create a snowflake stencil and backed it up with pattern paper.  I built my page in a vertical center format.  I wanted to showcase my adorable malti-poo Daizy, who sat still as I took a photo of her amidst the Christmas lights we were testing.  I cropped out the lights from the photo to fit the frame, but she still looks cute!

I built the page with stickers, ephemera and fussy cut pieces from the collection.  Then finished it off with white Nuvo drops, also available in the Paper Issues shop.

If you visit the PI Facebook group, you'll surely find something to inspire your next paper project, and hopefully play along with us.  The more projects you share, the more chances you'll have to win a monthly gift card to the shop!
